Mission Statement
Our nation becomes more and more reliant to foreign-born talent in STEM. The gap continues to widen disproportionately for underrepresented groups. Our mission is to close the STEM gap through early exposure and equitable access to research in diverse groups under the guidance of college professors.

Our Goals
|
Commitment to Diversity
We strongly believe that the best science is accomplished in diverse and collaborative groups with excellent growth benefits to student researchers. With this in mind, our projects are accomplished with a group of 4-6 student researchers. First, a pool of students is made for each project based on eligibility and merit. Then, the second selection process is done to make student research groups that are academically, culturally, economically and otherwise diverse. In addition, there are excellent leadership opportunities for undergraduate and returning high school students.

Research Stipends
We are able to provide research stipends in the form of fellowships to eligible students.
Throughout the year, we apply for grants and organize fundraising activities so that we can provide our research internships at no cost to students and financially support those eligible for research stipends. Each grant has different requirements (such as low-income or disabled students) and may be specific to certain research projects.
